The Wholesale Planner is responsible and accountable for the 6-month Spring/Summer and 6-month Fall/Winter merchandise planning and forecast by Sku for all styles in the wholesale collection for Men’s, Women’s, Footwear, & Leather Goods.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Update seasonal forecasts regularly in accordance to wholesale account projections, project launches and seasonal orders during the start of market
- In partnership with VP of Sales, Wholesale Directors, and Wholesale Controlling, develop seasonal merchandising sales plans by gender and category to align the budget
- Collaborate with Wholesale Directors on department store reviews prior to market and seasonal forecast projections.
- Participate in department store market appointments to gain product feedback and specific needs for each department store
- Manage all forecast projections by customer.
- Track wholesale order sell in vs. forecast to audit styles oversold by month and/or completely oversold and communicate all information to the wholesale sales team.
- Project permanent replenishment forecast and communicate to Supply Chain.
- Manage, analyze and Wholesale sellout data vs inventory on hand.
- Develop and present recommended sku counts and class plans prior to each market launch.
- Partner with Wholesale Operations to cancel orders due to being oversold
- Be extremely vocal to highlight to senior management all red flags in terms of planning, forecast and any situations that arise
- Perform all other duties as assigned and required to support the Wholesale, Finance and Ops teams.
- Adhere to all global schedules and deadlines
- Monthly analysis & reporting of external agent commissions.

Requirements/Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years as a Buyer/Planner. Wholesale experience preferred.
- Strong retail math, analytical and organizational skills.
- A team player, develop good relationships and communication with cross functional teams
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Power Point).
- Must be advanced in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, conditional formulas, nested formulas. Must be able to compile large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Detail oriented.
- 4-year college degree.
