The Role
As Retail Manager, you will manage the entire retail business unit, ensuring that the brand translates into commercial success and an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term commercial strategies for our Boutiques and Outlet channels.
Sales Performance: Set annual and monthly sales targets for each location. Monitor performance closely and propose commercial initiatives to ensure goals are met.
Expansion & Optimization: Design strategic plans for potential new locations or relocations based on commercial and financial needs.
Inventory & Product Management: Perform frequent analysis of sales and stock by product line.
Execute seasonal buying and distribution according to company timelines.
Actively participate in selecting products for end-of-season sale strategy.
Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing team to align the annual plan with the fashion calendar, collection launches, and local events.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to prevent category deviations and maintain our competitive edge.
Financial Oversight: Manage the total budget for the retail area and specific business units.
Analyze P&L (Profit and Loss) statements, managing costs, expenses, and staffing levels for each store.
Pivot and implement alternative action plans when necessary to hit KPIs.
Perfil
Requirements & Profile:
Experienced: Proven track record in Retail Management, preferably within the premium fashion or sports industry.
Analytical & Financial Savvy: Strong ability to interpret data, manage budgets, and optimize P&L.
Strategic Thinker: You don't just manage the day-to-day; you look ahead to anticipate market shifts.
Collaborative: You excel at working across departments (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain).
Brand Ambassador: You appreciate the nuances of a French brand and can uphold our high standards of excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 7 years of experience in the role, preferably in Retail/Fashion.
Experience in a multinational environment and managing multi-country operations is highly valued.
Strong understanding of the South American market.
Excellent project management and communication skills. Analytical mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
