SUMMARY

The Allocator is responsible for supporting inventory allocation across Outlet stores in the U.S., helping ensure the right product is in the right store at the right time.

This role will analyze sales, inventory, and store performance to identify opportunities, support replenishment and allocation decisions, and help maximize sales and inventory productivity.

The Allocator will partner closely with Merchandise Planning, Buying, Commercial, Visual Merchandising and other cross-functional teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career candidate who is interested in building a career in merchandising, planning and allocation and enjoys working with numbers, solving problems and understanding how inventory decisions impact the business. 

Perfil

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Analyze sales, inventory and store performance to support allocation and replenishment decisions.
  • Help ensure stores have the appropriate level of inventory based on sales trends, forecasts, assortment needs and store capacity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify stock shortages, excess inventory and opportunities to improve inventory productivity.
  • Support initial allocations, replenishment, product pushes, store transfers and inventory consolidations.
  • Review high-performing and high-turn styles and identify opportunities to maximize sales and sell-through.
  • Maintain allocation reporting, including ship-to-store summaries, store capacity, inbound inventory, replenishment and inventory performance.
  • Monitor inbound inventory and help ensure product is positioned in the right location to support business needs.
  • Partner with Merchandise Planning and Buying teams to understand assortment strategies, inventory needs and seasonal priorities.
  • Work closely with Commercial teams to understand store performance and identify allocation opportunities.
  • Support seasonal and in-season allocation strategies designed to maximize sales, sell-through and inventory productivity.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Buying, Commercial, Finance and Visual Merchandising teams.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Recent graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong comfort working with numbers and analyzing data.
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking with the ability to work through problems step by step.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience working with spreadsheets and large datasets is preferred.
  • Strong curiosity and a desire to understand the “why” behind business performance.
  • Resourceful problem solver who is willing to ask questions, investigate issues and work toward solutions.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and willing to take ownership and follow through.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to understand how inventory decisions impact sales, stores and customers.
  • Interest in fashion, retail, merchandising, planning or allocation.
  • Experience with planning or allocation systems such as Anaplan is a plus, but not required.
