Mission
Purpose: Responsible for strategic sourcing of multiple categories at a platform level & accountable for achieving seasonal financial cost targets.
Mission Description:
- Define business plan for each supplier & align with global sourcing director
- Negotiate & execute to seasonal costings & savings targets according to financial objectives
- Manage department budget
- Guide & validates supplier strategy at a category & product level
- Continuous sourcing exploration to adapt to business & product needs, acquiring Market Intel both on product & suppliers
- Identify business risks, communicate & execute risk mitigation plan
- Guide Sourcing managers to execute Lacoste business strategies through S.M.A.R.T KPI’s
- Train & develop team members to ensure career evolution & talent retention
- Establish transparent working relationships with studio, product, quality, supply chain teams and suppliers to ensure agile & efficient decision making
- Create organizational objectives
- Drive development process improvement opportunities & transformation projects
- Prepare & present monthly activity report to top management
Profil
Profile & Skillset:
- +10 years’ experience in textile & apparel sourcing
- Fluency in English required
- Ability to work on Excel, PowerPoint & other internal systems
- Able to lead a team & drive operational excellence
- Problem solving & results oriented
- Strategic mindset
- Financial acumen
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to collaborate / influence all levels of stakeholders
