Mission

Purpose: Support & execution of collection development (from sketch delivery to production launch). Price negotiation with suppliers in support of the Sourcing Manager.

 

Mission description:

·       Collection development :

o   Participate in sketch deliveries with product teams & factories

o   Participate in the construction of collection documents (bill of materials)

o   Follow samples reception & exchange between teams

o   Update product data & information in systems at all stage of the development (trims, fabrics, packaging)

o   Organize & plan factory visits logistic, accompany & guide merchandising teams

o   Guarantee SMS on time deliveries

o   Participate to product fittings with Design & Product teams

o   Propose product and/or process improvement to achieve better efficiencies/quality/price

 

·       Production :

o   Update technical pack industrially to allow production launch

o   Secure style duplication from other platform to enable nearshoring strategy

o   Review trims & fabrics with quality team

o   Negotiate final prices with suppliers to secure finance targets objectives

o   Insure on time OK Production according to BU Planning schedule17

Profil

Profile & Skillset:

+5 years’ experience in textile & apparel sourcing or development

Fluency in English required

Ability to work on Excel, PowerPoint & other internal systems

Detailed oriented

Problem solving & results oriented

Financial acumen & Analytical skills

Negotiation skills

Ability to collaborate with functional stakeholders
