About the role

 This role acts as a strategic finance partner across the end-to-end product flow, connecting market demand, buying decisions, sourcing execution and financial performance. It provides senior stakeholders with clear insights, constructive challenges and actionable recommendations to improve decisions on volumes, stock, margin and sourcing performance.

SCOPE

MISSION

Stock & Inventory Performance

Strengthen financial visibility and control over stock levels, valuation, depreciation, margin in stock and related risks, ensuring clear insights, early warning signals and actionable recommendations for decision-making.

Global Volumes Governance

Lead and challenge the global purchasing volume process, ensuring consistency between market demand, buying plans, sourcing assumptions, stock ambition and financial targets.

Sourcing P&L Performance

Monitor and analyze sourcing and industrial P&L performance, including margin evolution, cost drivers, FX impacts, forecasts, risks and opportunities, with a clear view of impacts on gross margin and profitability.

MBP & Global Supply chain Financial Partnership

Act as a key finance partner to Merchandising Buying & Planning & Global Supply chain, translating buying decisions and product flow assumptions into financial impacts.

Planning & Closing Excellence

Support monthly closing, forecasts, budget and strategic planning cycles with reliable analysis, robust controls and clear executive recommendations.

Governance & Decision Support

Improve transparency, accountability and cross-functional alignment between Markets, Sourcing, Operations, MBP, Global Supply chain, Global Pricing and Group Finance.

Management

Manage 1 controller & 1 intern

Profile

Education: Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a Finance position, preferably within a multinational retail, fashion, distribution or consumer goods environment. Experience in audit, controlling, supply chain finance, inventory management or business partnering is a strong plus.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SAP, Essbase, Hyperion Planning, and Business Objects & Microsoft Office.

Communication: Fluent in English.

Mindset: Result-oriented, proactive, analytical and collaborative, with the ability to challenge constructively, manage complexity and interact confidently with all management levels.
