About the role

Purpose:

As part of the finance team in a significant area EMEA, you will be a key component of both financial and business communication. The ideal candidate should not only provide trustworthy information but also be able to articulate his/her own vision. We are expecting the candidate to be able to evolve internally to capture country realities.

Given the complexity of the scope (JVs and Partners), the candidate will be the point of reference on finance matters in the various multi-disciplinary projects (closings, forecast, planning, product, margin, inventory) and we expect a strong sense of diligence and adapting communication skills in his/her previous experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

   Overlook direct markets

-        Ensure financial consolidated view of Joint-Ventures (EREN Group and Italy) and Partners EMEA

-        Coordinate financial communication between markets & region

-        Manage financial model of all the markets

 

     Support day-to-day activities

-        Coordination and consolidation of the area financial closing in a timely manner for P&L, Working Cap and Volume

-        Support monthly business reviews preparation for management

-        Analyze business performance and challenge variances against budget with explanations and recommendations

-        Ensure reliable harmonization of financial reporting for closing and forecasts

 

     Dedicated regional scope

-        Be responsible for Partners business controlling: preparation, submission and follow-up of forecasts/budget, submission of volumes, coordination and alignment with the supply teams, support of the sales teams

-        Coordinate, support and control the volume submission process for all product and channel across the region with the help of controlling group, supply chain and operation teams

-        Be responsible for regional office controlling: preparation, submission and follow-up of forecasts/budget in coordination with Commercial, Marketing and HR teams.

-        S&OP monitoring for all markets

-        Inventory monitoring to ensure proper stock management at country level

-        Follow-up investment projects for stores opening and refit projects

-        Follow-up on footprint and headcounts by channel

  

    Be a business partner

-        Perform model, ad hoc simulations, sensitivity analysis based on key drivers

-        Support operational teams in running their day-to-day operations

-        Drive process improvement and project as identified

Profile

The candidate shall have an interest in the fashion industry, product, figures and have a strong sense of analysis. You are recognized for your rigor, your team spirit, and your ability to thrive in a fast-paced industry.

 

Bac+5 (Master 2) University/Business School specializing in Finance >6 years of experience of which >3 years’ experience/mission in a similar role in a multi-cultural environment

  • Analytically minded and strong organization skills with attention to detail
  • Able to grasp and retain new concepts quickly
  • Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced game business
  • Strong computer skills, experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Hyperion tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with excellent customer service and «can do» mindsed
  •  Autonomous and love taking initiatives
  • Fluent in English & French
