About the role
At Lacoste we are currently seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager for our Americas Operations Platform, based in Panama.
The person in this role will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories and suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, service levels, and commercial terms with suppliers
- Identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and service standards
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and performance management programs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, legal, engineering, and other stakeholders
- Build sourcing strategy on the category in charge
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry risks to inform sourcing strategies
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, KPIs, and compliance requirements
- Drive supplier diversity, sustainability, and risk mitigation initiatives where applicable
- Ensure procurement policies and contractual obligations are followed
- Support inventory optimization and supply continuity planning
- Mentor junior sourcing team members
- Lead continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of sourcing, or manufacturing or product development
- Experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
- Strong analytical, financial, and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
