About the role
· Coordinate, monitor and control export shipments directly between vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customers.
· Ensure timely execution and visibility of shipments across multiple international markets.
· Follow up proactively on transportation milestones, transit deviations, customs clearance, and delivery performance.
· Participate in operational meetings with suppliers, freight agents, customs brokers, and clients.
· Support issue resolution and escalation management related to transportation and logistics operations.
· Maintain accurate shipment records, reporting, KPI tracking, and operational documentation.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments like customer service, planning, and commercial teams.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and service optimization.
Profile
Professional background:
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics, customs documentation, and foreign trade operations.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping processes, export documentation, and customs coordination.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
- Advanced English level (written and spoken)
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent shipments in a fast-paced environment.
- Business-result oriented with customers’ insights.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Assertive with communication and interpersonal relationships.
Technical skills:
- Experience in the textile, apparel, or manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS/OMS), ERP systems or international logistics platforms.
Specific requirements:
- Professional-level English proficiency (written and verbal); additional language skills are a plus.
