About the role

At Lacoste, we are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to lead and strategically develop our Central America & Caribbean region.

This role is responsible for driving commercial performance, ensuring profitability, strengthening long-term relationships with strategic distributors, and guaranteeing flawless execution of product launches and marketing initiatives across the region.

What You’ll Do:

The Key Account Manager will strategically manage assigned distributors, ensuring alignment with annual commercial plans, achievement of sales targets, and sustainable business growth. This role acts as the primary liaison between Lacoste and key regional partners, ensuring operational excellence and strong market execution.

  • Develop and execute the annual business plan for each assigned distributor, ensuring alignment with regional commercial objectives and profitability targets.

  • Implement annual commercial strategies per account, consistently achieving and exceeding sales, sell-in and sell-out objectives.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators including revenue, margin, inventory, rotation and market share to identify risks and growth opportunities.

  • Identify and drive expansion initiatives such as new category development, additional points of sale and e-commerce growth.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between Lacoste and assigned distributors, building strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Lead business reviews and quarterly performance meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.

  • Coordinate product launches and commercial activations in collaboration with the Marketing team, ensuring timely execution and proper implementation of agreed investments.

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Finance to align forecasts with demand planning and guarantee operational excellence.

  • Manage claims and resolve commercial or operational issues efficiently and proactively.

  • Analyze market trends and account performance to develop accurate projections and propose corrective action plans that drive sustainable growth across the region.

Profile

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or related fields is highly valued.
  • Own vehicle required.
  • Advanced English proficiency required.
  • Availability to travel is required.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proactive and results-driven mindset. Strong analytical skills, resilience, and a high level of ownership. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
