About the role

We are hiring a Global Social Media Manager to join the Global Social Media team.

 This role is key to shaping and executing Lacoste’s brand-driven and culture-led initiatives across social platforms — with a focus on relevance, creativity, and performance. The candidate will be responsible for building narratives that bridge culture, and audience engagement, particularly on TikTok. 

They will lead the planning and execution of activations with a strong cultural component, coordinate with internal teams (Content Factory, Paid Media, PR, Influence) and external partners (agencies, creators), and contribute to a global roadmap of moments and editorial programs. 

They will also play a role in defining content guidelines, spotting cultural trends, and driving experimentation in new formats. This role requires agility, cultural sensibility, and strong project management to bring to life Lacoste’s vision at the intersection of sport, fashion, and culture.

Profile

Key skills & know-how


Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, X and broader digital platforms


Proven ability to lead content planning, briefings, and post-campaign analysis
Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders (creative, media, influence)


Editorial sensibility: comfortable working with brand narratives, cultural storytelling, and trend-based formats


Capable of writing clear, strategic, and inspiring creative briefs
Confident using tools like Notion, Jira for workflow tracking and coordination
Ability to analyze content performance and identify optimization opportunities

Background & experience

3 to 5 years of experience in social media management or digital content strategy
Prior experience in managing brand activations or culturally driven social campaigns
Familiarity with fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands operating in fast-paced international environments
Track record of working with creators, influencers, or cultural institutions is a strong plus
Experience interfacing with paid media and influence teams is appreciated
