About the role

Retail Allocation Strategy

  • Lead global retail allocation strategy in alignment with seasonal buys, regional assortment needs, and in-season demand signals.
  • Partner with regional and market allocation teams to set best-in-class allocation practice that optimize sell-out and sell-through, minimizing shortage & stock imbalances.
  • Translate topline planning into efficient store-level inventory actions, with a focus on demand-driven and data-informed decisions.
  • Drive in-season execution by enabling fast reactions to sales trends, over/underperformance, and evolving product needs.
  • Collaborate closely with merchandise planning, buying and retail teams to ensure seamless integration end-to-end with consistent strategic actions.
  • Measure and monitor allocation KPIs
  • Provide analysis and insights to the Global C-suite on allocation performance and regional opportunities.

System Implementation & Operations

  • Support the deployment of global allocation tools and processes as part of the broader Buying and Planning system transformation.
  • Partner with IT and planning teams to ensure allocation functionality is embedded within system builds.
  • Lead change management efforts within allocation teams during digital tool rollouts and process evolution.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot allocation issues, ensuring consistent and data-driven resolution to optimize in-season outcomes.

Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in retail allocation, merchandise operations, or supply chain planning, preferably in fashion, retail, or luxury.
  • Proven experience managing global retail allocation or distribution strategies.
  • Solid track record on allocation operation
  • Knowledge of allocation and planning systems including Anaplan is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on inventory performance, product flow, and store productivity.
  • Experience driving systems implementation and operational transformation.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, especially with planning, buying, and IT teams.
  • Eager to work with Local Teams on site
