About the role
Working on the runway and special events collections and in close collaboration with the Head of Menswear, the design manager will mentor and drive the team to deliver innovative, creative and on brand menswear collection season after season.
MAIN REPONSIBILITIES AND MISSION
- In close relationship with the HOD define key seasonal and long term trends
- Research of striking imagery and 3D mock-ups in regard to the creative vision
- Produce strong communication assets to convey strategy and potential collaboration ideas
- Ensure product aesthetic is aligned with creative vision across all creative and development touch point
- Foster a strong collaborative network, cross functional relationships in house
- Lead and inspire team to create compelling, brand enhancing design
MANAGEMENT
- Advocate and inspire great ideas in product design and product development
- Lead and collaborate in all milestones to advise and challenge the product development process and ensure the highest quality standards
- Manage multiple capsules at a time with a strong sense of priorities ( business, lead-times, go to market process)
- Delegate and hold team accountable for meeting creative expectations and development lead-times
- Provide Leadership and mentor staff, set goals, give feedback and guidance to increase individual and team productivity and professional growth.
