About the role
Linked to PTE Manager and Global product technical director, you will be in charge of following, piloting and coordinating technical missions from Platform with PTE Manager.
Main activities :
- Ensure quality and Lacoste standards
- Ensure and guarantee Excellence of Execution
- Ensure Lacoste grading standards
- Factory visits and trainings
- Capacity to study and understand the Technical pack from FLEX PLM
- Support and assist on PTE Manager
- Collaborate with Quality group
Technical missions :
- Sampling measures on SMS, Size set, PP samples and Top of production samples following PLM tech pack
- Ensure that quality standards are respected on all products
- Guarantee that Lacoste standards are fully respected by suppliers
- Awareness of all stages of product development from Proto 1 to OK Manuf and SMS
- Technical advices to suppliers (workmanship, in-line solutions, sampling)
- Capacity to update Tech pack in flex plm (Platform section only)
- Capacity to understand a pattern, and give solutions to improve related to the fitting
- Support & Assist PTE Manager for SMS review session/ PP meetings
- Capacity to analyse a pattern on Lectra Modaris V8
- Visibility on the size set grading and execution
- Factory visits with Global technical product director
Organizational tasks :
- Demonstrate the interest of the function and quickly establish a strong collaboration
- Primary sponsored of the benefits of centralizing the function and implementing procedures, performance indicators, exchange of best practices and synergies
- Have the intellectual and relational agility to be able to adapt to the company's culture
- To succeed in bringing rigor, structure and methodology to subjects that lack them, in a logic of optimization, beneficial for all
- Positioning the function as a partner, support and advisor to the technical and operational teams, and as the referent, pilot and authority on technical issues
Profile
Background & business Skills :
- Technical textile background (knit product & woven fabric)
- Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in production, manufacturing & development with similar position in textiles groups, or international brands
- Experience of working and interacting with a multicultural and cross functional team
- Excellent technical background in production
Technical skills :
- Capacity to understand Pattern making
- Capacity to analyse workmanship of garments
- Aknowledge of all Lacoste Standard – technical excellence of execution
- Acknowledge of stitching operations in-line (industrial workmanship)
Specific requirements :
- English read, spoke and wrote
- Agility to work in a multicultural environment
- Capacity to synthetize your ideas
- Facility on IT softwares
