Role Overview:
As a Controller, you will be a vital contributor to our continued success and advancement. Your expertise and passion will play a key role in shaping the future of our Finance Department and driving it to new heights.
What will you do?
• Manages and controls retail KPIs and sales in the different channels (Sales KPIs: Traffic, Conversion Rate, Average Price, Products analysis, Comparability, Digital share)
• Retail margin Control:
support accounting in monthly stock variation computation
provide transparency on retail movements to business and finance partners
generate margin analysis (Entry margin, discounts, shrinkage, by product, …)
Inventories turnover
• Retail OPEX control
Tracking personnel costs and KPIs linked (Productivity, HCs, …)
Rents, supporting accounting in rents checks and variable rents provision bookings
Other costs control
• Maintain financial procedures:
yearly budget and quarterly forecasts, planning effectively and adjusting retail financial P&L and other retail metrics (Doors, Comparability, HCs, …)
monthly closings, supporting accounting in the closing (Sales, Margin, Opex, Other) and providing clear comments to explain variations
Reporting, Sales and Performance analysis:
• Produce reports to business and finance partners:
Weekly Performance report (Retail sales & KPIs)
Monthly shrinkage analysis
• Help to prepare presentations for Direction Team (Business Reviews, Leadership committees, other various reporting)
• Ad hoc analysis to provide assistance in strategic decision-making
•Support Business Plans simulations CARs (Capital Request) preparations
Business Partner:
•Manage the different level of targets (financial, commercial, bonus) and ensure alignment of HR, finance and business partners
•Share follow-up file to POS (CIDITIs) including daily targets and actual figures (1 file per quarter)
•Support business partners and help them through decision-making (from day-to-day operations to strategic investments)
•Collaborate with Real Estate Department on footprint evolution.
Internal control:
•Ensuring reliability of datas from different sources: Retail back-office software (Y2), Group accounting (SAP), financial (Hyperion) and operational systems (BO).
•Specially on in-store assets and transactions:
Inventories mangement procedures and controls (Inventory movements, etc.)
Monitoring of sensitive store transactions (Manual price adjustments, etc.)

• 3 years on a controlling position

• Handling figures analysis
• Strong computer skills (Excel). Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion would be a plus

Specific requirements:
• Location: Barcelona
• Language: Fluent in Spanish, good level of English/French would be a plus
• Other: Knowledge of Iberica Market, interest in fashion
