With this position, you will be part of the Quality & CSR department, in Operations (Production & Supply Chain). This department is accountable for delivering premium quality products and achieving the goals set in the Durable Elegance strategy, related to the manufacturing practices and the products.

You will report to the VP Quality & CSR, manage a team of 5 people and will be in close contacts with our teams in France, Hong-Kong, Panama, as well as with our factories & markets worldwide.

Your motto will be to lead the development of our talents​ to successfully deliver premium products​ satisfying our customers​ and achieve our CSR ambition.

Job Responsibility

You will be responsible to lead and implement the Quality, Compliance and CSR strategies for the Lacoste value chains, from the cotton field to the garment makers.

More precisely, you will manage with the support of the Lacoste countries offices:

·       Participate to the continuous improvement of the Lacoste Standards, on Quality and CSR topic

·       Maintain and improve product quality delivered by factories

·       Ensure technical, social & environmental compliance of our factories

·       Implement Durable Elegance strategy across our textile supply chain (T5 to T1): CO2, ZDHC, Water, Waste, SBTi, no-coal

·       Ensure data collection on traceability (product & supply chain) & environment performance of factories to make product LCA

·       Develop Elegant Cotton standard, with the support of the WWF organization.

·       Validate & propose external standards supporting our ambitions (GOTS, OCS, GRS, ZDHC, etc.)

·       Validate & propose tools supporting continuous improvement on quality, compliance & Csr

·       External lobbying promoting Lacoste Durable Elegance ambition

·       Ensure adequate Quality & CSR training to Operations teams

·       Support Licences & partners in Lacoste quality and sustainability ambition (FTW, LG, Accessories, JV, Licenses)

To achieve these missions, you will be managing a team of 5 people located in different locations. You will also indirectly manage teams across the world in our regional headquarters, who operationally implementing Lacoste strategy.

Your main KPIs would be:

·       Products non-conformity rate

·       Audit coverage & compliance rates

·       Reduction of CO2 emissions

·       Reduction of water consumption

·       Adoption rate of programs (e.g. Higg FEM, ZDHC, etc.)

 

 

Profile

Hard skills:

Must have:

-          Engineering master’s degree

-          10 years experience in Sustainability and/or Quality

-          Knowledge on Social & environmental risks in textile industry

-          Fluent in English & French

 Nice to have:

-          Technical Textile background: technical knowledge on processes & fabrics

-          Life Cycle Assessment

-          Excel, Powerpoint

Soft skills:

Must have:

-          Project management: good organization, tasks phasing, deadlines anticipation, etc.

-          Team management: lead and manage a variety of profiles

-          Tenacity: never give up! Quality continuous improvement as well as ecological & social transition is a long journey

-          Team spirit: you will work with many stakeholders in a transversal way, so you will need to use your soft power to gather everyone and reach  your goals

-          Daring: don’t hesitate in proposing improvement options, it will be appreciated

-          Elegance: we need someone with good interpersonal relationships, able to easily communicate with a wide range of stakeholders from different countries.

-          Wish and availability to travel
