About the role

In the context of road to operational excellence and IT application's change, lead the transformation of supply and production planning processes and organization.

Manage multi-sites (internal and external) production planning to optimize customer service level, working capital requirement and operational revenue.

Responsibilities and key activities :



- Transformation to operational excellence :

Audit the SWOT of the current planning and scheduling processes and organization.

Define, lead and implement the transformation road map to planning operational excellence (processes, people, softwares).

Manage the change to ensure people’s development and day to day performance.


- Operationnal activities :

Supply management to meet the demand: Simulation of different scenarios of production plan to meet the demand, preparation of the Supply side of the S&OP, resources plan check to feed the CAPEX/new suppliers qualifications/people recruitment plans.

Build the master plan, consistent with the production plan, between the different sources of supply (internal factories and external suppliers), and the associated Rough Cut Capacity Planning (bottleneck workcenters and key suppliers).

Manage the MRP to procure and purchase relevant components and accessories (tradeoff between customer service, purchasing costs and leftovers). Manage the Capacity Requirements plan along the planning horizon.

Monitor the planning execution by production teams (scheduling, implementation, capacity control).

Animate the relationship with the other Operations platforms (Asia, Americas) and markets (customer service).

Continuously improve the efficiency of the planning processes (Master data management, BI and reporting, Process standardization and improvement).

Develop and support the people of its team (vision sharing, strategy building, SMART objectives setting, people training and support).

Profile

  • 10 to 15 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain
  • Master’s degree
  • Languages: French and English
  • APICS/ASCM certification is a plus
